IE laggy on 8.1?

Anyone else experiencing this? Takes a long time to load some pages. Links don't work until the page sits for awhile. Also, zooming in and zooming out is hit and miss.

yeah i experienced a bit lag in IE after updating my wife's 625 to cyan

It gets even worse with Update 1 (developer preview so it might get better when released). Performance isn't a priority anymore it seems.

I can't tap open to read people replies on the comment section of the mobile version of GSMArena. No such issues with Chrome on Android. IE still a lousy browser imo.

I'm glad that we finally have swipe from left to right to go back a page, but the delay in refreshing that page is pretty terrible.

exactly. Browsing on this device has become increasingly painful. Huge step back from Windows Phone 8 and needs to be fixed ASAP!
