Good catch. It is not on my 930 neither. Although, I am not sure if it would be on an international version. I am just checking my 920 with 8.1 and it is still there.

Is there any way to get the emergency alerts for the US on my 930?

I had forgotten to check to find the way to turn it off, since I just blocked unknown/withheld numbers which took care of that.

It shows up under messages -> settings on my AT&T 1520, running DP 8.1.1 without Cyan. (AT&T version of the phone, not an international one)

I'm running 8.10 cyan so hopefully it'll come back in 8.11. Mine is on T-Mobile but since it's international it should have it as it did in 8 and it's an important feature to have.

I find this feature important as well, but my 930 seems not to have the option to turn it on. I have check all region settings and everything point to the US. Strange.

Hee hee. I have some friends that were very upset that they could NOT turn off presidential alerts. Can't wait to show them I won't get them on my 1520.3 just to ruffle some feathers. Wish I had the time and resources to make a "fake" YouTube ad for non US Microsoft phones touting this "feature" for the more rabid Obama opponents. Might quadruple MS phone sales overnight.

I hope they aren't familiar with the existence CV roms or they will be asking me to flash their phones for them. LoL
