Hey everybody. I've been lurking in the 925 and recently the 635 forums while having fun with those phones, but after trying to make the 512mb of ram work for this long, I caved in and finally went to the compete opposite side of windows phone and nabbed a 1520 off Craigslist. So far after a day, this is WORLDS BETTER than the 635. No constant resuming, no more waiting for apps to load. Everything works so well. Easily the best windows phone I've ever seen. Apps like podcast lounge that I thought were just crappy now run buttery smooth and quick.

Just wanted to give my praise and sort of introduce myself. I hope to be posting here often.

I started on a 521 just about 56 weeks ago (August, 2013). I moved quickly to a 925 (November, 2013) and am now on a 1520.3 since about a week ago.

Welcome to the major leagues. I don't think there is another WP device out right now that can top the 1520 and it is looking to be future proof for the next round of advances.

That was pretty much why I bought it. Nothing coming out in the future really nails the combo of specs, form factor, and battery life like the 1520 and after watching the Lumia event and hearing how all the cool features in Denim are coming to the 1520, I didn't see any reason to not get it. If Microsoft/Nokia are talking about it in the same breath as the 930 and Icon, that really says something about its power.
