Is the Lumia 1525 confirmed ? I really liked the Lumia 1520 as I am planning to get it until I saw a few sites talking about the rumoured/leaked Lumia 1525 with more powerful screen, processor, RAM etc.
Should I wait for the confirmation or I should go for the Lumia 1520 now ? Been looking for reasons to wait it and now I am in such a dilemma that I don't know what to do. Please help me with this:cry:

Far as I know the L1525 is still nothing more than a rumoured device with no credible foundation.

Doesn't mean it's not coming. Not sure why they wouldn't call it the 1530 though... It may show up next year.

How long will MS announce a new device before they start to sell it ? Few weeks ?

I sort of figured that the 1525 was not real.

Nice to get a something like that. But I'm guessing this won't stop speculation.

To me it won't it was said the mclaren and 1525 were 2 new phones scheduled for each carrier with the 3d touch technology so why when the McLaren is cancelled all of a sudden the 1525 is a myth?? Makes no sense to me

Well, until 64bits ARM, and it means 2015, I guess MS will not announce anything.

Any new "high-end" phone will use the same CPU than current 1520 (or the 0.1+Ghz variant), I think I don't need to change my 1520 for the same hardware.

If you don't read about a new windows phone here at WPcentral ! chances is there not. This is the best site for trustworthy reports and news. And if there a little late with reports there holding of till they know its real or not. There always plenty of rubbish news and reports about.

This.

Waiting on the L1525 will be a long, lonely wait. The L1520 will hold it's own for a long time to come and is still the best overall WP on the market.

I would advice you to get the 930, if it weren't for the lack of Glance and the supposedly bad battery life. (Personally I'm going for the 830 although I already have a 1520)

The bar that the NOKIA Lumia 1520 has raised is simply too high since it was created to be and marketed as the best WP ever. So I suppose that the 15xx class is always the first-class flagship of the Lumia franchise. I doubt that a worthy successor of it would be announce anytime soon, not until at least Q1 of 2015. People have high expectations for the 1525/1530 so the hardware, design, features, software,...all have to be taken into real consideration by MS in order to not disappoint users.

Nothing good comes from a 64-bit CPU. No idea why everyone is so excited about it, considering it uses more battery, and phones don't have 4 GB of ram yet.

As for the 15xx, I'd wait until the Snapdragon 810 fully releases and then we'll see a new 15xx series, anything else wouldn't be much of an upgrade.

The funny thing is almost no programs on any platform even take advantage of multicores by multithreading. So everyone bei g excited about this architecture is kind of funny. Its kind of like getting excited that the new mustang has cylinder deactivation technology built in but it never turns on. But it has it! Lol.
