Hey guys,

So I am in AT&T and I can make an upgrade, however the only Windows Phone there is the 1520. I plan on having this phone for a while (2 years). Should I wait until 2015?

I also know that the 830 and the M8 are coming. I think the 830 is awesome, but it makes me sad that it will lack an always-on cortana. Regarding the M8, well I love it, but I currently have an M7 and the camera does not make me happy.

I just did it due to no reliable information on a replacement after several months of waiting. I did it on the NEXT plan rather than a 2yr contract so in the middle of 2015 I can sell it and buy the replacement on my 2yr contract extension.

I upgraded from a Note 2 to 1520 a few months ago and it is the best phone I have ever owned, love it both hardware and software wise. I actually have two 1520s, a red and a yellow. Not going back to android and I do not care for crapple.

I love my 1520. If the 1530 isn't coming, this will be the phone I have for quite sometime. I owned iPhones, Galaxy S3, Nexus 4 and have to say I'm not going back to Android or iOS. I personally recommend the 1520. I think the new kick *** Windows Phones wont come until Windows 10 release date is announced. Pretty sure Microsoft is going to want this to be the biggest release so we might have to wait to get new flagships. I just hope they do something awesome like they did with 41mp PureView cameras. Imagine the 1030 taking those 41mp shots in RAW and as fast as the camera in the iPhone. Or the 1530 having a 41mp sensor and the same ability.

It's mainly up to you. This phone has the potential to last for quite some time for me and I always change devices.

Mmm I'd pass on the Nexus 5, its camera is poor and its probably the worst looking Nexus phone they did. I still have the Nexus 4 simply because it doesn't look like an afterthought.

Besides the point, neither compare to my 1520. The 1520 is in a much higher league.
