Should I buy Lumia 1520?

My Lumia 620 just died. I was hoping to keep it until next flagship comes with Windows 10, but unfortunately it died yesterday.

So, I'm gonna buy a new phone, probably a 1520 or a 830.

Although 1520 is 1 year old, it seems that it is still the best flagship out there (It has everything 930 has, also it has Glance). What do you think? Should I buy 1520?

Also, I've read about some touch issues on 1520. Are those still present in Denim? was it isolated to first batches of 1520s, or current batches have it too?

Update: Now I'm thinking about getting a 930. It looks better IMO. However, I'll miss Glance. I don't know if I should go for 930, or buy 1520 (which has glance).

I have two 1520 and use to have a 920. What u really need to consider is the size. I think u should hold one in your hand before buying it. I love it and cant go back to a smaller phone. I broke the screen and had it changed in Nokia after that the touch issues was gone! Hope it helps and sorry for my English.

Yes you should buy it if you are okay with big screen size if not then 830 is a good choice too

I experience it very rarely.
The touch issue is mainly due to its big screen size which tends to bend more easily.

Can you define "very rarely"? Because my 620 had serious touch problems; and now "very rarely" means once a day to me lol

Firmware havent helped much.

I havent counted but its not like mine friend who ended up selling his 1520 due to touch issue.

Go for the 1520. If the size is an issue, I suggest go for the 930 then.

Other than that it is a great device.. If the size us an issue for you and you don't mind lossing the SD slot you should consider 930.. The glance feature is not that important, at least not for me.

Battery life and heating issues are the common issues with the 930. If the 1520 we're more or less the same price here in Spain then I would have bought it. But money was a little tight so paying 200? more for a device wasn't part of the bigger picture! Haha. I can't wait to see what Microsoft puts out there because I would like better battery life and also an external memory slot! I'd read the threads first though to make sure you're ok with the current issues.

I'm also about to switch from my 2 year old Note2 to the 1520. Yes, it's bigger but I like bigger! I remember how everyone thought my Note 2 was HUGE and I'd tell them.. "Use it for a few days and you'll think it's normal and every other phone is tiny!"

More appealing design ( Metal frame )
No Expandable storage but i think 32GB is more than enough. U can always backup your stuff to your computer once in a while.

6 inches : Difficult to carry and use, lesser ppi compared to 930 but if u r a fan of big screens than its great!! Personally i think 5 inches is enough.

Glance: For me personally, Not a deciding factor.
Personally i would have picked L930.

Get a 630 or 635 and wait for MWC and then buy something later this year and keep the 6xx phone as a backup. Good luck with your search.
