Another day another pain staking obsession with the update button and spam reading of forums. I would say tomorrow has a chance but Im sure id be saying the same thing about the following day and the day after that etc. At least I know most of you are waiting with me! We should celebrate when it comes by uploading pictures taken with the new camera update!!!

I would wait for the OTA. It is troublesome to reset all stuffs just for a firmware update.

Can't go through the whole process to get it using the recovery tool. I hope they release the OTA update. Getting impatient day by day.

Twitter is the only way I can think of. The customer support seems as if they are operated by elementary school kids.

Some guy tweeted it to Lumia Help, they said the website is not incorrect, and that the update will be available soon.

Well glad the website is not incorrect but why have they decided to announce it's availability when, well, it's not actually available yet? Weird and annoying.

I wonder if there's a way to use the "Lumia recovery tool" to update instead of flash the device. The Lumia recovery tool has the Denim updated version showing. I'm still not getting the OTA update either for my RM-937. Hard to wait when you have #LumiaLove syndrome. lol

I would use the recovery. Much cleaner install. OTA on major updates always seems to cause issues especially battery.

I kind of agree, but it does take some work to get everything back to where it was. If only all apps used the built in backup feature..

After getting Denim via LSRT got OTA update today for some "additional language support". Was a very fast update, I wonder what it actually was?

I already ccontacted support and asked them what was going on, I then asked him to contact his manager about the problem. Not that this counts as contacting Microsoft because the support agents don't have the power but at least the problem is out there.

Does the recovery tool erase the same data as a hard reset? Lucky I just did a hard reset last week, I wouldn't lose much. So will I have to download apps, reset the region etc.
