Siddharth, as far as I know, none of the Lumia's support 2300 MHz TDD. It is 1800MHz FDD that one is able to latch on to after this latest firmware. I am sure, where you live, Airtel has also rolled put 1800MHz FDD LTE as they have done in Delhi/NCR.

RM-937 is LTE enabled device by hardware but we don't have software support of the same till now,
Good that Microsoft is pushing update for 4G
However the supported bands for 4G is different from Airtel 4g band, but you can use it in any other country where 4G with following bands 2100, 1800, 2600, 900 and 200

Hopefully out network providers use any of the mentioned frequencies unlike Airtel so that we can enjoy 4G on 1520

It now appears that 1800MHz FDD is going to be the most widely used band for 4G simply because the ecosystem is well developed and more devices are available in that space. Airtel has rolled out 4G in that band in addition to 2300MHz in Delhi / NCR. Signs are encouraging.

Hope for the best.

Waiting for LTE with my 1520 in Andhra Pradesh
In AP or TG Airtel is providing LTE but the bands are different from 1520 supported bands

Need to wwait for BSNL or Reliance which bought the 1520 supported frequencies I.e. 2100, 1800, 2600, 900, 200.

Heard Airtel is also offering 1800 frequency in Hyderabad but I am not sure
They initially rolled out 2300TDD across the country which is supported by few handsets

I sometimes feel it was a plan between Airtel and Apple to boost the sale of their Iphone along with Airtel's network. :D

Airtel entered agreement with Nokia networks for FDD network equipment. Both Airtel and Reliance bought FDD spectrum for 4G
