What should I do to fix this? (lumia 1520)

Hello

I just got my screen replaced (ordered a new lcd screen from amazon) and after installing everything, the screen works perfectly fine, but the glass is a little bit raised from the top, left and bottom.

Any recommendations? Should i reinstall it? Order a replacement? ...?

How much was the screen, or could you provide a link?

Those photos make it look as though the glue that held the glass to the assembly was weak. I had a similar problem when I attempted a similar repair and received a substandard part. I returned the defective screen and bought a nearly-new green AT&T 1520 to replace my broken yellow one. Good luck to you!

Thanks! Thats what i thought too.. You can almost see the glue dried up. I'm glad i paid extra and purchased the screen with Prime. I'm trying to get a new screen. I will definitely do something to get it repaired.

gordonfink is a member here who does many repairs. You might try PMing him.

Sorry I was too vague. I thought he was famous. LOL

Basd on my experience with changing LCD's, to me it just seems like to need to reinstall it.

Doesn't seem fitting in there properly.

But the silicone is perfectly lined with the frame, it's just the glass alone that is raised. Do you still think that? And if i reinstall it, won't the silicone get damaged?

It looks like the glue wasn't properly applied, and I am not sure that reinstalling is going to do much for you. You can always take the case off, and put it back on, but there isn't really any other part of the install process that would cause that gap.
