Lumia 1520 battery replacement

Hi all,

I've had my Lumia 1520.3 for over 3 years, and the battery is dying on me. Don't get me wrong but I love my Nokia 1520.3!

Recently i noticed that the battery charges to 100% but when it discharges down to 80% the phone dies completely requiring a reboot and recharge. I found an official battery online and have purchased it along with tools to help me disassemble the phone. I haven't replaced it yet but I'll keep you guys posted on how it goes and if its a successful install.

Not too hard. Just go slow. The battery placement doesn't require much in the way of fiddling with other internals, so it's not too hard on that phone.

I had good luck replacing the battery of my 2 and a 1/2 year old Nokia Lumia 1520.

Bought a battery off eBay for about $20 and had a freelance technician in a mall replace the battery for me with no issue.
