Want to revert 1520 to Previous Build

I'm running the latest feature2 build on my 1520 but I want to go back to the CU.

I've been doing this a while but wanted some opinions... It seems as Microsoft changes what branch they release to RP/Slow/Fast I might already be screwed.

I think it will go like this.

WDRT --> 8.1
8.1 -> 8.1.1
W10 UA --> 10586.107
10586.107 --> AU
AU -> Latest AU Build.

at some point I will InterOp and edit the registry to make it appear as a 950XL so I can get the CU update but here's the kicker...

If is choose Insider fast I think I'm going to get feature2, which I don't want. I suppose RP will get me the original CU but when Microsoft flips the switch and feature2 becomes the norm on slow and RP then it will be impossible to stick with 15063.xxxx branch.

Is my logic here correct? Has anyone WDRT their 1520 and be able to get back to 15063 lately?

I did this today actually. Am running latest as far as I can tell right now being 10.0.15063.483.

WDRT back to Whatever it had available for the AT&T 16GB version, I think it was 8.0 GDR3.
Took an 8.1 Update. Downloaded the Upgrade Advisor App. Installed the build 10586 but not sure which version. Then took the AU update to 14393. And then another update and ended up on 14393.1066 where it stopped. I edited the registry as a RM-1105 model and it went to the current CU update I am on now (15063.483)

Is there a post detailing the procedure for editing the reg to get the 1520 to latest CU ?

Not officially that I know of...

However, gus33000 has made it super easy with his app Interop Tools to edit stuff though. You can side load it while in Developer mode. There is a store version too, but for simplicity while that one is under development you could install version InteropTools_1.9.437.0_arm_RC3 and its dependencies. I can show you the keys I edited below to make it work for now and once Interop Tools is installed you can edit them.

That is it. Make sure they all have the same coinciding info for the Hardware variant you are using.
