My current 1520 is having two main problems: the dreaded "Saving..." after taking a picture and "No GPS" in Maps. Both of these used to work, I'm not sure what happened (I did replace the screen and battery, but have checked multiple times to make sure everything is hooked up properly)
I have another 1520 that I can use for parts.
Do I need to replace both the top and bottom module?
I assume I will lose everything, is there a way to backup or take an image of my current system and start right where I left off?
As of 5/13/18, what is the latest version of Windows Phone/Mobile..? Mine says 10.0.14393.2189

So I changed both modules and turned the phone on. Woah! Back to 8.1! blast from the past!
I will say: no problems taking pictures and the GPS works (although it is with Here+ maps).
I will update to Win10 and hopefully everything will still work.

Finally went through the whole update path.
I am now on Windows 10 Mobile version 10.0.14393.2248
So far, GPS and camera app work!
Fingers crossed
