Update issue

My Lumia has version: 1607 OS: 10.0.14393.2248

Shouldn't it go higher?

When I attempt an update, I get the usual - this phone is updated. When I go to insider, I get - You need to update the OS to use insider.

I tried the OTC and I get - this phone is fully updated.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem.. 1520 is not eligible for the creators version so you have to check out this website and it will show you how to update your 1520 .

I’m not a real big phone geek and I was able to do it so if you follow the instructions and read some of the comments after the article you can do it

I updated my new 1520(buy it from Win-Deplover it was in closed package for years) to AU 1611 then with registry hack to mimick a 950XL I get CU 1703. After that I make a hard reset. I cannot update to FCU 1709 and get a error message. CU 1703 works like a charm on my 1520, without issues.

P.S. I can't get monthly updates for 1703 , after starting the update I get error message x80........
I read it be a bug seen on Lumia xx20models. Maybe it is better to stay on this latest optimized Insider build for the Icon, 930, 1520. This build has all features from FCU 1709 but no security patches and Bugs made by the "praticant"
