Has anyone found an adapter that they like for the micro USB 3.0 port? I'm looking to get my hands on one and am looking for a good source. You would think Nokia would have one as an accessory option since it doesn't come with the device.

I buy a lot of PC and electronics items from Newegg.com. They have always been a reliable source.

Just plug your USB 2.0 cable in. It's the same as on new Samsungs... Existing USB works albeit slower.

about the same after shipping. But that is full female to female adaptor. Unless you have cables already, it won't work. Why carry an adaptor and a cable around?

the adaptor I found should let you plug usb keys at usb 2 speeds. Of course if the usb key has a micro usb head, then you don't need any adaptor.

Just ordered it. And the red 2520 from Verizon. Should have the 2520 before Thanksgiving and the adapter, no idea. :)

Makes the 2520 on par with the 2520 by giving it a full size USB port.

Honestly it should have shipped with the accessories included .... not to feel like a dummy but it took me two whole days to figure out what that port was used for lol. Good thing I remembered I bought a OGT cable off Amazon a while back for my Nexus 7 . So at least I can use the USB 2.0 with that .... but I Also would like to buy a 3.0 adapter .

would be nice, but it is only a $5 adaptor, and USB 3 is industry standard, albeit still rare on the micro type.

tell that to apple when they switched to lightening. Yeah right

It is backward compatible, it will just use the 2.0 speeds when being backward compatible.

I got this one as well, and it doesn't work with thumb drive or keyboard, two dead simple devices.

I got this one, Amazon.com: HDE Super Speed USB 3.0 Type A Female to Micro B Male Converter Coupler Adapter: Computers & Accessories, and it doesn't work either. I'm thinking it's a 2520 problem and not the adapters.

I am wondering if it might be a software or firmware issue. I find it hard to believe that so many of us cannot get the USB port to work. I bought my adapter off eBay and it does not see any USB thumb drive. I did a Google search and found lots of postings of people having issues if USB ports not working on windows 8.1 machines.

    This one works:

Amazon.com: White Color Micro USB 3.0 9pin OTG Host Flash Disk Cable for Samsung Galaxy Note3 N900 N9000 10cm: Cell Phones & Accessories

By "works," I mean it will allow you to charge/sync your phone or mount a usb flash drive, but won't power an external HD.

So it appears the requirement is to make sure the adapter or cable is OTG. The ones I have seen say they are for the Galaxy Note 3.

Quite disappointed that it doesn't power an external HD. :-( Any other options of we should wait for the Power keyboard and that too at USB 2.0 speeds ?

I just got off the call from Nokia and they do advise to have the nokia 2520 charger connected to the power socket, while the HD is connected so that there is sufficient power for the external HD. Can you pls try this?
