I have heard from some reviews on youtube that the display on the 2520 is slightly yellow, and the colors are not as good as the surface 2. Can anyone prove this, or experienced the yellow display issues?

CNET video said that, on a poorly done review, I might add.

While I was at Verizon store today, compared to iPad air side by side, Lumia screen is on the warmer side, which is not an issue for me. the photos and web pages look awesome.

You can say the iPad is too cold and has a bluish hue.

I can adjust the color temp on my 30" monitor, and the Lumia is similar to my default setting of 6500k, which is the white point for sRGB and Adobe RGB. My monitor can display 100% of sRGB and 99% of Adobe RGB. I think the ipad air is set to about 7500K or maybe even higher.

Color temp is not the same as color space.
    Based on engadget's photos, http://www.engadget.com/gallery/noki...!slide=1577642

the lumia looks more vibrant than surface:

Go to a local store and see it for yourself if it's an issue. when u buy monitors, you will always see differences when placed side by side.

Colors appear yellow because you aren't used to what a properly calibrated display looks like. The problem is that most displays skew WAY too blue, especially televisions in a big-box store, in an appearance to appear brighter to your eyes. Rest assured, the display on a Nokia Lumia 2520 is very accurate, and literally beats the pants off of what the Surface 2 offers (it's color gamut is more limited in comparison).

If you want an easy way to tell, try looking at some reds and blues on a Surface 2 compared to a Lumia 2520 in a Microsoft store. The Lumia 2520 is far richer.

So the panel is more accurate than the surface 2, the problem is the color problem most panels have. Makes sense.

Being married to a photographer with a carefully calibrated display makes me appreciate nokia's screens, they are awesome and she was blown away by how close they are out of the box!

Sooo... is there a way I can give my tablet a more blueish hue??? ;/.

I know that seems like I'm defeating the purpose, but when I work on computers all day and then have my tablet around my laptop and 1520, it's just too much of a stretch.. looks like someone peed on it! (ok, not that bad, but it does bother me).

I've only noticed it on white backgrounds, but it's definitely a little yellow to my eyes.
