I've had my 2520 for about a month now, and here is a list of open issues with it. A lot of them are already know, but this is more of a compilation, and this list may grow (trying to keep the (*#&$ing threads to a minimum!).

    1) The sleep bug - If you let the screen go to sleep, you have to force reset the system to wake it up.
    2) Terrible graphical glitches - Asphalt, Dungeon hunter, freakin UNO... load any of them up and it's obvious.
    3) App crashes - All of the pre-installed apps needed to be uninstalled/reinstalled because they crashed. Even after, some games crash out in the middle of a game, or the screen goes dark, never to come back until it is force quit.
    4) Disappearing storage - Noticed my memory was being eaten up a GB at a time for no reason... finally did a system refresh when I was at 3 GB (should have had 10 free). Now my memory is freed up, but a lot of basic apps (music, all news/info apps, weather, video, etc) no longer work. Attempting to reinstall them gives me the 80073cf1 which doesn't seem to have any obvious resolutions.
    5) Fingerprint magnet - I'm new to tablets, so I guess this is partly just... what they do.... but my 1520 doesn't have anything CLOSE to the gunk that my 2520 gets.
    6) Poor out-of-box video codecs - I was kind of surprised at how few videos my 2520 recognized on my media server, because it doesn't support a lot of basic formats like avi and asf.

I think the thing that frustrates me the most is that Nokia has a history of great support and fixes for things, but the surface 2 is getting a lot more love from MS than the 2520 is from Nokia. It's rather disappointing.I understand that in a lot of ways, this is a "beta" unit because it's the first Nokia tablet and one of the first 8.1 RT devices, and I'm still ok with that, but it's definitely to the point that I've warned people not to buy it if they're looking for a daily driver type device. I got this and my 1520 in a deal together and I'm a HUGE advocate for the 1520, but would definitely only advise people to get the 2520 if they're just looking for something to play around with, because if they're looking at it as a business device, it would most likely **** them off.

That being said, I have a glimmer of hope because:
    A) Nokia *does* have a long history of great device support
    B) Nokia and MS just had their merger, so that may take some attention away from a device w/less than stellar sales numbers (just a guess based off several factors)
    C) We've all heard that Nokia is working hard for a latest software release in early Q14. I'm hoping that they're just super focused on that particular release date now, and can circle back to the 2520 after it's over.
    D) For some of the software problems, they may simply have their hands tied by MS because of being on win 8.1 RT.

Here's to hoping that in a few months from now I'll just be laughing about these issues.

    Here are a few more:
    - Lack of accessories, including basics like power adapters
    - Confusing compatibility requirements for USB cable
    - Confusing capacity available for SD card
    - "Black Silk" matte finish on my AT&T unit is starting to wear off on the front corners. Minor, but annoying nonetheless

Just to shed a little light for others passing by
    1) Not everyone has this issue. I've not seen it.
    2) Gameloft (and possibly others) issue - needs to be addressed by software companies, not Nokia/MS.
    3) Only issue I had was with Story Teller. Story Teller didn't sync with my Lumia 920 at first, but this works after an update. It does take a while to pull my 10,000+ pictures from skydrive and if I'm not patient and start tring to use the app before they are loaded it crashes. Also if I try and view images from my 920, I can appear to freeze, but eventually comes around.
    4) Not aware of this. Saw the other thread on it, but maybe my ignorance is bliss.
    5) Yes it is! Illumishield screen protector fixed this for me :)
    6) Wasn't aware of this...but I imagine this is an RT issue in general...

Assessories - I'll be set once my power keyboard arrives...and subsequently available for others to purchase. Would be nice to see better delivery timing. Power adapter....thought these were avaialble at Verizon/AT&T now. Kind of wished they had used something non-proprietary, but guessing it had to do with fast charging feature (which is awesome).
USB cables - ya, glad I read the forums. Seems like USB 2.0 OTG is all that works right now. Plugged in a wired ethernet controller and at least it does work.
SD card capacity. That was actually a good surprise. going from 32 to 64. Glad it wasn't the otherway round!
Black Silk rubbing off - uh oh. Not seeing that. Maybe you have high level of acidity in your hands and this is not something we'll all see! :)

    Thanks!

Sorry to heard you guys. I considered myself lucky, any issues so far... And I'm a heavily user, in terms of the time per day I'm using the tablet... But no sleep problems, no Nokia apps problems or app crashes, no codecs problems, no disappearing memory issues, no idea of the games glitches because I have never liked to play games on phones or tablets. Fingerprint magnet.... I don't know if this is a problem, is the same with the iPad. My only issues are with the zinio app, but that is no problem of Nokia and MS, the sim/memory card tray is extremely poorly designed and backlight bleeding (but to be honest is normal in IPS displays, i need to admit that in the Nokia is worst but just when you are looking dark images and with the brightness at maximum... Ahhh and I got it in US and I'm living in UK ๐Ÿ˜‰)
Regarding USB issues, i was lucky to buy the OTG adapter the same day I bought the tablet and works perfectly. To be honest I'm super happy, i gave my iPad to my girlfriend but now she is using more the Nokia to watch their online tv shows thanks to the flash support... Amazing device!!

BUTTT!!!.... My only big issue is with at&t and the activation of the device and unlocking, its a nightmare the process, even following the steps in the unlocking topic here in wpcentral. If someone has the same issue, please help me!! (BTW I've not been able to redeem the $20 gift card ๐Ÿ˜ž)

The error problems w/my apps only occurred after my system "refresh." Though the crashes and graphical glitches were there before. And yes, you have the codec issues, you just haven't tried to play any files that need the codecs the 2520 doesn't have.

Asphalt has been updated and I am sure other games will over time.

My first unit, purchased on release date had similar issues. My second unit purchased recently, and with the 40 Windows updates does not have these issues.
    4) Disappearing storage - Noticed my memory was being eaten up a GB at a time for no reason... finally did a system refresh when I was at 3 GB (should have had 10 free). I wish the screen kept clean better, back I don't care as much. I keep mine in a Case Logic SureFit Folio.

I think this is a Windows RT issues. Power DVD (Windows Store) and soon VLC Player will playback anything. Power DVD plays back anything I throw at it, and streams from my DLNA server.

    Check this thread. http://forums.windowscentral.com/nok...er-source.html
I just read it again and still don't know what to gather. I just wanted wired ethernet, so I went with a 2.0 OTG, but it sounds like 3.0 can work...but no go for external HDD. *shrug*

I don't know if it is limited to the 2520, but it seems like I have to tap links in IE like 5 times, and sometimes I have to zoom in, to get them to open.

The only issue that I have had out of your list is the fingerprints. I would send it in for sure, that sounds like a hardware issue more than software.

I've experienced the same exact problem. I noticed when in I was in Best Buy, the Lumia was the only tablet that severely lagged when surfing the internet. Having to tap on links several times is unacceptable.

I have experienced this with various Windows touch devices. I have found it to be more site/page specific rather than device specific. Sometimes there are no issues, other times it can take a fee tries. I usually will zoom in/out before trying a third time and it solves the problem. However, certain sites simply don't respond well to Metro IE 11. Desktop IE 11 usually works better for those sites.

I also don't spend that much time in the browser. Usually just reading links I have saved to Pocket via Latermark. I tried to stick with apps whenever possible.

I Have got all of those problems and I also have light leaking around edge of the screen when background is dark. Xbox music looks nice when viewing now playing, after update now playing just displays songs covering the artist pictures. Some web pages need several taps before anything happens, if at all. Overall I am not very happy with my 2520 this is now my 3rd one due to light leaking issues, I just want it work and more often than not it just annoys me with stupid little things that won't work. may sound like I hate it but the fact is I love it which makes the problems worse because I dont want another tablet.

    I've had mine since 12/26.

    1) The sleep bug - If you let the screen go to sleep, you have to force reset the system to wake it up.
    - - - haven't had this
    2) Terrible graphical glitches - Asphalt, Dungeon hunter, freakin UNO... load any of them up and it's obvious.
    - - - no glitches so far, but maybe I haven't hit any error-ing apps yet.
    3) App crashes - All of the pre-installed apps needed to be uninstalled/reinstalled because they crashed. Even after, some games crash out in the middle of a game, or the screen goes dark, never to come back until it is force quit.
    - - - yeah no
    4) Disappearing storage - Noticed my memory was being eaten up a GB at a time for no reason... finally did a system refresh when I was at 3 GB (should have had 10 free). - - - nope

    - - - yeah, this one is pretty bad. but that's what screen covers are for. i think any clear screen tablet will be a fingerprint magnet.
    6) Poor out-of-box video codecs - I was kind of surprised at how few videos my 2520 recognized on my media server, because it doesn't support a lot of basic formats like avi and asf.
    - - - this one may come up eventually. I haven't had an issue so far, but this one wouldn't surprise me.

I really really want the Power Keyboard. I think it will be essential for me. Too bad there's no info on when it will be released. *sob*

Honestly, your issues are astronomical. I'm thinking you got a faulty device. I'd get it replaced.

Wow. You've really gone through a lot to get a working device. Who have you been going through for your warranty replacements? If not from Nokia, have you tried reaching out to them with your problems? I would hope/imagine that they would go out of their way to take care of you.

I have two little problems at the moment, one is new the other has been from day one. First is I have this annoying white dot that following my finger, I'm 100% sure this wasn't there before?? The other is that if I want to reply to a thread like this one my keyboard keeps dropping back down when I click on the reply box, only way I have over come this is hitting the reply box and tapping random letters quick just to get the keyboard to stay up.

Another one is that if on my 920 I save a picture it will save to skydiver but do the same on the 2520 it won't? If I take a picture with the 2520 it will up load it no problem but not saved pictures?

I have the same keyboard disappearing issue. If you REPLY WITH QUOTE the keyboard stays up. If you use the desktop version of IE it isn't a problem. I think this is a website issue. I emailed WPcentral about it but haven't head anything back. I have verified that the same thing happens on a Surface RT and a Dell Venue 8 Pro which runs full Win 8.1.

Another one that's been annoying me, not hugely but still. When you connect the 2520 using the hdmi the screen has to be on all the time, you would think you could select an option to turn of the display. Plus I wish the 2520 could do what the surface does when you connect it through hdmi, where it displays the desktop on the tv PLUS you can use the surface as normal so its doing two things at once.

I haven't tested the 2520's HDMI, so I may be wrong, but you should be able to go to the Devices charm -> Project and you can select your different display options there, ie. 2nd screen on, tablet screen off, etc. etc.
