closing apps brings me into desktop mode ??

Probably not specific to just the 2520 but I have noticed that when I close metro apps using the swipe from top to bottom it always brings me back to the desktop screen, I want the Metro start screen. What am I missing?
Btw, I am all up to date on Ms updates and still loving my 2520 though the newly announced Lenovo ThinkPad 10 looks really nice.

In desktop, right click/long press the task bar, then settings, you'll see the option in navigation I believe

Actually what impound was you have to remove the MS Store app from the taskbar and that worked. Saw the answer on the MS forums

Hmm. I have Store still pinned, and my swipe down is just fine. Again i played with those settings.

Hmm, very strange, like I said I am totally up to date and as soon as I removed the store app on the task bar, all is fine.
When I swipe down out of any metro app I go right back to the metro start screen
