New/different power keyboard issue

I bought a lumia 2520 and keyboard about a week ago, I can usually log in without a problem. Once I am in and want to type on IE or word, I have to press and hold the key for it to type anything, I tried buying a bluetooth keyboard and that had the same issue. Microsoft, Nokia and the Verizon techs have not been any help. I have updated the firmware and tried restoring the tablet, am I missing a setting somewhere?

I have had similar issues. I am still researching solutions, but I can say that I have restoring/updating firmware three times already. So far, so good. This time I kept the power keyboard attached at all times and it has yet to misbehave.

I have also read that the firmware update that is supposed to solve keyboard problems as a 2014 date. Mine firmware version is dated December 2013.

I'll report back if I learn anything else. In the meantime, please keep us updated on your progress.

You had to restore everything three times before it would work correctly?

Yes. All went well until last Tuesday's firmware update. Now the keyboard/mouse is malfunctioning again.
