    We don't know for sure.
You'll get either 10, some watered down version of 10, or a retrofitted 8.1 RT to have many 10 features.

This is an interesting question. The 2520 runs on a Qualcomm chip like the Dell XPS 10. The Surface RT/2 runs the Tegra 3/4 combo which doesn't support WP10 (or whatever they end up calling it). I'm sure there are many more Surface tablets on RT than there are Lumias or Dells but at least these have the proper silicon. Has anybody asked the question specific to the 2520?

While I don't think anyone knows for certain, I think what will happen is the 2520 will get a minor update - something like a Windows 8.2, for example. They may get rid of the desktop, they may keep it. We might get access to Universal Apps (which I'm really hoping is the case), we may not.

I'm hoping that we'll get access to the Universal Apps and some form of Office 2016 (Touch)...
