You will be more happy with the 520 in the long run.

They have just released Jelly Beans(4.1) for GS Advance.. If you are very particular about apps, and notifications center, then get this. Otherwise, go for the Lumia series.

Do get L620 through eBay, it should be around 13K or thereabouts.. btw, where are you from?

Are you drawn to one OS more than another? I'd base your decision on that. Personally, I'd get the Lumia. WP is a dynamic OS and the Nokia apps are great.

Asking a WP forum on which phone you will get will lead to most, if not all, answers being to get the Lumia. My answer is also to get the Lumia, but for different reasons. Many negative reports have come out on the Galaxy Advance, while almost all feedback for the 520 have been positive. The OS on the advance is gingerbread, which is over two years old, and the update to 4.0 on the advance makes the phone run like garbage, which is probably due to the less than 1 Ghz processor it has equipped. The 520 comes with all of WP8 advances set up, and should receive updates for the next year and a half guaranteed by MS. You will save a good amount of money as well by picking the 520. However, in terms of applications, the Advance does come out ahead. There are a LOT more free apps on Android, and all top apps are on the Android OS, something that WP8 can't say. This is a double edged sword though, since over 90% of all malware target Android due to piracy and open end software present in many apps. If you do not need apps such as Instagram or want to spend money on apps, it's probably best to get the Galaxy S. However, if you want a phone with great support, a stable and non-lagging operating system, go for the 520.

There are far better phones than the Galaxy, you know. The Sony Xperia E is 9999 on Flipkart, for example, and it's a very nice phone for the price.

The Xperia E is nowhere near as good though specs wise. Everything from the screen to the camera is a downgrade.
