I am using Nokia Lumia 520 but whenever i connect it with the computer it gets recognised but computer doesnt shows the folders inside the phone. It shows it empty... what to do????

Have you installed the Windows Phone app for desktop on your PC? This will also install the necessary drivers so your PC will recognise your 520. You need to have Windows 7 or 8 to be able to use this app though.
