I connected my lumia 520 to my pc and tried to sync some flv format videos but it failed.
Also songs are not getting shared.What to do ? which formats are supported guys and can I use any converter to convert these files to .wmv file format ?? someone please help.

I use VLC and convert my FLV to MP4 by frist MP4 and video set to H264 then audio MP4(AAC). Also remember to change to".MP4" after the file name.

But how do you convert it ? and you use VLC on phone or PC ? sorry couldn't comprehend you buddy :-(

There's no VLC app for WP currently that can play videos. Just fyi, MKV format is also not supported.
Just do a google search on "Converting video files to mp4" as suggested by @gravydre, and then transfer it to your 520.
Put your files outside the videos folder and open using 'Kirik SD File Viewer' and 'FLV video player' apps
DVDvideosoft's converters have served me well.
I have yet to find a mobile device that supports FLV out-of-the-box
You need to buy an android phone..
and play it.
windows phone is bad.. and bad. i buy 720 and it is all the worst phone ever.

you just need to install MoliPlayer Pro to play those videos.
