Not getting updates on L520. What should I do?

Guys im in pakistan and i have been checking for updates regularly in my phone and it still says phone upto date when I check for update, what should I do?
And also my phone no longer checks for application updates by itself, even thou it is connected to WiFi most of the time.
BTW i bought the phone from KSA and now im here in Pakistan using this. :unhappy:

Check this link out: Availability in Middle East - Nokia

Nokia says the country variant for KSA hasn't had its Amber update approved yet. I don't know why, but that is what Nokia says.

So is there any other way to update my phone? I very eager to update to GDR3 or atleast Amber

You could flash it with firmware from a different country, though I would be very careful. I have never done it on WP so I wouldn't be the one to ask.
