help to unlocking lumia 520

Hello! Yeuris my name is and I am from the Dominican Republic.
I am planning to buy a lumia 520, but all I see are locked and unlocked say on reviews from amazon says it's a lie.
Then I would like to help me know how to unlock it or a link to purchase a lumia 520 who are safe to use in my country.

the best way is to try getting it done officially i think if you see a phone you like make a note of the network it is on and ask the network provider if you bought it would they unlock it for you it would usually cost here in the uk about ?20...if you are allowed to have unlocked phone in the dominican republic then you could also see if any mobile phone shops near you can unlock the phone..here in the uk they charge ?7-10 to unlock at a local phone shop... good luck

Lumia 520 uses 20-digit unlock codes. You really need to get them from the original operator.

And this went really hard during last months. Especially regarding ATT.

You could try to get a device from Brazil as all variants from there are factory unlocked.

Or you can try get the Latin America Area Variant in your country.

Claro is sellling the devikce, too. But its locked and I don't know what their unlocking conditions are.
