Stuck at gears of death after updatefrom amber failed due t odead phone battery

Hello,
I have a Nokia 520 that i updated to the windows amber update. yesterday i got another update and downloaded the update and started the installation. Somewhere along the line, my battery ran out and i plugged the phone back in and all i have been getting now for sometime is the usual gears of death spinning without any progress to show.

Any ideas on how i can get my phone up and running as the gears just keep rotating and i don't see anything or any progress and need to make use of my phone:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
