Automatic adjustment of time not working

I had to manually set the time; I searched online and apparently there should be an option on the time and date settings to make it adjust automatically but for some reason my phone does not have this option and network fluctuation is also a big problem
I had done hard and soft format along with software update
If any of you could help me with any of these problems it would be much appreciated!

automatic time adjustment depends on SIM signal , if you are not getting good signal in your area\location chances are you wont be able to get automatic time adjustment , try to switch to 2G from 3G since 3G tends to loose connection here in India (you know how good 3G is here )

First off, you haven't really deleted the image showing the IMEI number. Do remove it.

It looks like you don't have the option to 'set automatically' under date+time. Unfortunately, I have no idea what could cause this, but it is certainly not normal.

I have an 820 that doesn't have the Automatic option, but a 620 that does. So who knows.
