Headphones act like not plugged sometimes..

Didn't know how to name the thread exactly. Problem is from time to time headhpones just don't react, like i didn't plugged them at all, sound goes from the speakers.. It happens like every 10th time aproximatelly, sometimes i have to do plug them several times in a row for the phone to acknowledge them. What i noticed is that it doesn't happen often (or at all) with headphones that have golden/ish jack.. Anyone encountered similiar issue and is there some simple solution maybe?

I had same issue few times, but it didn't occur to me that often, so i didn't care about it. Lumia 620, using Nokia's WH-208 earphones. After 8.1 update i can always check if my phone recognized that it's plugged with volume bar(always shows "earphones" when it's plugged in)

That's still an i*iotic 'solution' from Microsoft, was it that hard to show a little headphone icon when plugged?

Yeah, I know, haha. It happened at the worst times for me, luckily WP 8.1 has the headphone notification.
