I bought a new Camaro and it comes standard with Bluetooth so I bought a Bluetooth smart phone, the Lumina 520 and got it working today after cutting down my old SIM. The Bluetooth pairing seems to work - both the car and the phone say everything is working except I never received a prompt to sync my phone contacts to the car. When I attempt to use the address book feature from the car's Bluetooth menu it says there are no contacts to display.
I actually experimentally paired the phone a couple of days ago (no SIM) to see if the music player would work wirelessly (it doesn't) and I remember the car asking whether I wanted to import the phone contact list. I deleted the pairing afterward, so that when I paired for real (w/SIM) it wouldn't be confused but now I don't get a prompt about importing the contact list.
So my question is, has anybody paired a 520 with a recent GM vehicle and were you able to copy the contact info? For all I know maybe the 520 isn't supported fully with GM cars.
