Hi!

I have a problem with my Lumia 520. When I try to use some app that use the Nokia Maps (HERE Drive, HERE Maps, Nearby Wifi...), my phone restarts before the app open! I would like to remove the installed maps and download again, but I cannot manage the installed maps because this bug always happens.

Is there a way to delete the maps directly from the memory phone? I'm not confortable to do a hard reset on my phone...

Hi!

It's not possible, when I go to "Settings/Applications/Maps", the problem (phone restart) happens! I can't see the downloaded maps because of this problem.

Are you able to uninstall here maps, drive, ECT. Then redownload them and see if that works?

Hi! I tried, but not works too!

I think some downloaded map is corrupted and when some app that use nokia maps try to read this map, the problem occurr.

How about this go to storage sense under settings click on maps. Then click the manage maps button. It will then show the maps you have downloaded. If you longpress the map you have downloaded it will pop up a command allowing you to press to delete downloaded maps.

Hi, James! I tried this too, same problem! Any attempt to view the maps makes this problem happen

That sucks. Well in that case I would first try a soft reset and if that doesn't do it a hard reset. Something in the data base must have gotten corrupted.

Soft reset not works too... I think my only choice is the hard reset :(. Is it not possible to access the local on memory phone and manually delete the map files?
