Surprisingly Capable Phone!

I had to send my 1520 in for repair and am using the 520 until I can get it fixed. I've used only high end WP devices (8x, 1020, 1520) and am pleasantly surprised how well the 520 is doing so far.

I am going to really miss the screen size. I have a work trip in 2 weeks where I'll need GPS and using the 520 for that may be daunting, but expect things to work out.

You should get your 1520 back by then. I actually switched to more capable Lumia devices after a great experience with the 520 on a road trip for work which I took about 5 days after I got a Lumia 520 in October of last year.

I bought a 521 on a lark to try Windows Phone out... Last August that was. Used it on a road trip for vacation. By November I had a 925.

These entry level Nokias are like that first hit of free crack...

Glad to hear that it is working fine and that you like it. as a 520 user so far nothing has gone wrong. Anyway speaking about using GPS do expect the battery to run out. keep a car charger handy or make sure its fully charged before pushing off.
