Why doesn't my screen work even after installing a New Digitizer?

Nokia Lumia 520 - Screen Replacement - Problem

Hi, I have just dropped my Nokia Lumia 520 and the Digitizer cracked (the LCD still works but the touch screen does not respond). Therefore I have decided to buy a new Digitizer from Ebay. After successfully installing the "New Digitizer", the touch screen still doesn't respond. Could someone please help me....
