is it safe to install insider preview on lumia 520 because it has only 512MB ram. can it be easily rolled back to 8.1?

Yes, as long as you have no issue erasing the phone.

Yes it should be easy to roll back, you just need a PC and a connection allowing a 1-2 GB download.

Don't install. It is so laggy for day to day work. Worst.

Just don't go for the preview build. Wait for the official release. Hope it will not be this buggy and laggy.
