Since Microsoft supplies NokiaSoftwareUpdater every google link directs me to use it, and in specifications is listed, what my phone is supported.
But its not. And its frustrating.
When i start NSU it simply answers me what: Software package not awailable for this phone.
My phone is reset to factory defaults and is using firmware version 40
Wiki shows what tle latest firmware is version 50.
There MUST be an available package for my phone.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Microsoft supplies NokiaSoftwareUpdater
Microsoft inherited NSU after the buyup of Nokia Phone divisions. I believe the servers that supplied ROMs to NSU have been repurposed.

Try Nokia Software Recovery Tool from Microsoft for legacy devices like your Symbian. http://forums.windowscentral.com/e?l...token=jQKO_pIO

I don't see the 5230 on the list of supported phones, but this is probably your best chance.
