Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and to Windows Phone. I have Lumia 521.

I find it inconvenience to have to push power button twice when I want to end a call, otherwise the screen is just locked.

Anyone could help me? I enabled "Screen times out after 1 minute".

    Thank you in advance.

that's odd. when I answer a call when the phone is locked, the buttons appear when I remove the phone from my face.

You do know the screen shuts off but doesn't lock as well when you answer a call, right? I think you may, in fact, locking your phone while in call. The light sensor detects when your face is within an inch of the device and shuts of the display to prevent accidental usage, and when you move the phone away from your face, it turns back on itself (as long as your hand doesn't cover the light sensor).

Next time, during a call, don't press the power button at all and see what happens when you remove the handset from your ear.
