Do the Capacitive Keys Light Up?

I have a quick question for anyone willing to help me out. I recently bought the 521 because I thought it was a great deal. Though I know they obviously cut corners to make the price lower (I.e. the camera flash), but I can't seem to get the capacitive Keys to light up. Any thoughts?

They really don't. That makes it really frustrating to use in the dark.

The 52x line are the only WP8 phones to not feature backlit capacitive buttons, as far as I know.

That seems like an odd compromise to make...but oh well. It is what it is. Still a great little phone.

I know, right? So stupid. Not that I can't live without them, but its such a strange compromise to make. It makes the phone feel much cheaper than it is, even with something as small as that.

There is haptic feedback and I have no trouble hitting the buttons.

It is a little odd but I got used to it on my form 521. Really isn't that bad.
