Driver installing everytime

Hi,
Each time I connect my phone to the PC, the driver is installing. Sometimes the driver is not installed successfully and the device is not recognized. I have the windows phone app for desktop already installed on my pc. What is the solution for this?

What Operating system on pc Win7 or Win8

Are you plugging the usb cable into a different usb port on back of pc

Does it do the same thing on a different computer

OS is Windows 7 SP1. I am plugging the usb cable in to the same usb port (does it make a difference???). I haven't tried on a different computer.

Try a different usb port on the back and different data cable to see if that make a difference.
