521 on Amazon for 195?

I don't understand what is going on with the Lumia 521 on Amazon.right now its priced at 195 ?
why would people buy the 521 if you can get a high end phone on contract for 150 ?
wal mart sells it for 135 that is the right price not 195 and usually amazon is the cheapest not the most expensive.

The 521 is $195 contract free. Probably the most bang for buck right now for a unlocked device in the market. I just got one for $125 on eBay. Great value!

Contract free and unlocked aren't the same thing. But the one on Amazon isn't even unlocked, so that's why the price is shocking.

It's $129 contract free at Walmart.

$149 contract free at T-Mobile and HSN.

That $195 price is through an Amazon Vendor/seller. Amazon has it for $149, fulfilled by Amazon. It's the same price that HSN was originally selling it for and the same price that the MS Store Site has.

Only thing is that through Amazon, it says it will not ship till 3-5 weeks
