will 520 back shell work with lumia 521

My Nokia Lumia 521 back shell broke and cracked. Without the buttons which are connected to the shell this phone is useless. Does any one know where to find the back shell for the Lumia 521. I found a shell for the 520 and wanted to know if that works on the 521

I don't think a 520 shell will fit on a 521 because the 520's dimensions are slightly different to the 521.

The 520 measures in at 119.9 X 64 X 9.9 mm.

The 521 measures in at 124.0 X 64 X 9.9 mm.

So you can see that the 521 is a bit taller than the 520.

The trouble is, the 521 is a T-Mobile exclusive so it's not really a mass produced item. As such, third party manufacturers won't have much interest in making shells for it.

What about t-mobile,

I would try Nokia again but do it during the week and ask for a replacement shell

yea but it's the same situation with cases. they have to be specific to the 521 also. and those are everywhere on ebay/amazon now. no reason why a back cover would be more difficult/less profitable to make than a case.
