Radar 4g upgrade to 521?

I planned on upgrading my HTC radar 4g to a lumia 925, but I came to the realization that I'm a broke college student. I can sell my radar for about $100 and I have some money with me to get a lumia 521 but is it worth it? And that can anyone confirm that my simple mobile aim card would work? And would WiFi calling work?

The 521 is better in nearly every way. The only thing the Radar has going for it is being slightly thinner.

Even that is subjecting. The real only advantage is ffc.

I would recommend the upgrade. The 521 is a notable upgrade over the Radar. My wife moved from a Lumia 710, which is on par with the Radar, to the Lumia 521 and she really likes it a lot. It's much faster.

I didn't even notice there wasn't a front facing camera, I don't use the front facing camera much but I would still like to have one for the occasional skype call. Switching to the 521 I would lose flash, and a ffc, and staying on my radar would make me miss out on wp8, nokia apps, expandable storage, and wifi calling... hardware vs. software really. This is a shaky decision for me.

Yes, you will get some features, but also lose some features. But do remember, with WP8 you get offline maps from Nokia which is really great.
