Skype over T-Mobile?

I'm still new to Windows Phone. I recently downloaded Skype on my Nokia 521 prepaid with T-Mobile. Skype works fine when connected on WiFi but just fails to make calls when connected to 4g. Is anyone else having this issue?

Are you also using WiFi calling? Have you tried disabling WiFi calling for regular calls and then see if Skype works with WiFi?

I've had WiFi calling off all along. When I try to make a call using Skype over 4g it just shows the number & says "calling" but never actually does anything. I have tried it when I'm connected on WiFi & it calls the number without a problem. Any ideas?

I have a Lumia 925 on T-Mobile prepaid and Skype works well on and off WiFi for me. I would suggest downloading and running the speedtest.net app as "4G" speeds fluctuate a lot. At least for me, when I'm not on LTE, 4G bars don't reflect well with speeds actually obtained. That could be a big factor for VoIP success. Any other VoIP apps you can try other than Skype on 4G such as viber?
