New notification tones and ring tones
close out background apps with a tab or x in right hand corner
driving mode (I do not have a blue tooth device so I cannot comment)
double tap the screen to wake ( it says will reduce battery life so I will need to monitor)

Thats about it so far, but nice and I like it :)

The new app switcher is nice too. Hold the back button to check it out.

How do I force an update?

Go to settings in the app menu (small gear looking app)
Scroll to phone update-tap
Tap on check for update
Wait for 2-5 minutes
You'll either see:
Phone is up to date or it will start downloading
Before doing so be sure you are fully charged and on wifi.

Good luck

Yes sir, damn so what does that mean. I thought T-mobile owned Metro PCS I figuered they would push the update together :(
When you reboot your phone does the start logo say "MetroPCS?"
If it does your phone is on Metro's firmware and most likely won't be updated until Metro decides to push an update.

Metro might have settings or branded apps that wouldn't be compatible with T-Mobiles update.
Looks like Metro is still a separate company away from T-Mo.

Chin-up and keep checking the phone update or call Metro at 611 and ask about the latest update status.
Hard to say ... black could show up tomorrow.
