Can't Send SMS

Since I updated my LUMIA521 to Black I am experiencing problems sending text messages. I keep getting CANT SEND TRY AGAIN. It will work sometimes but mostly I receive that message. I also have a problem with receiving messages. I get them really late sometimes at the same time. I don't know if it is Metro PCS or the update. Please help!

Have you contacted your carrier and asked them if there are any issues?

Yes yesterday they said it was the network but today supposedly it was fixed but still its doing the same thing
