For a 5mp camera, which is better 16:9 or 4:3

I wonder which resolution does a 5 mp camera from lumia 525 would be more effective or efficient, 16:9 or 4:3?
Any one know the differences it make?

If you still print photos of if you ever intend to, if you want to use the full potential of your camera, 4:3 is the way to go.

On Lumia 520 and 620 16:9 uses 3.8 Megapixel images whereas switching to 4:3 gives you full resolution 5 Megapixel images.

Most phone cameras and DSLR shoot at 4:3 for photos, which is the best.

16:9 is best for video however.
