There's something about the 620...

The 620 might not have the best specs for a smart phone, but every time I see pictures and videos of it I just keep getting drawn towards it more than any other WP8 device out there (well maybe aside from the 920). I don't know what it is but I think it's a number of things.

The form factor isn't exactly slim like most phones these days but the size of it looks like it would be nice to hold. It's slimmer than my 710 and I never had a problem with the size of the 710.

The colours of the shells is exceptional. If I got a 620 I would probably get a green, cyan and white shell and the hardest part would be deciding which one to put on.

The price is probably one of the biggest reasons. For under $300 you can get a phone that is much better than any Android phone for that price. I think almost every review I have read about the 620 has stated that in terms of price you can't go wrong with the 620. My 710 was quite cheap when I bought it and I felt that because of the price I didn't have to worry about keeping it safe, as much as I would with a more high-end phone. I'm not saying that I would abuse it on purpose but It's a little less on your mind.

I guess there is a trade off between price and specs. For me personally after living with a 710 and enjoying it I don't mind not having top of the line specs. I would probably like to have seen at least an 8MP camera like the 810 but then again if I know i will be taking a lot of pics I will just bring my proper camera along.

I think if Nokia doesn't release something that blows me away at MWC the 620 might be my next phone. If Nokia can get this out to the rest of the world then they might have a sleeper hit on their hands.

Thanks for the read my friend. This again shows just how much I love my 620 :D

And that's why I just love my Lumia 620.. I want a Lumia and a Windows Phone 8 device. This is the answer. For that price? I couldn't ask for more. This phone is a serious magnet :P

Honestly, if you are not in the U.S and are buying the phone outright, it seems almost crazy to pick anything else. You could buy this and upgrade in 12 months and be much better off than buying something high end. I exclude the US because the 920 is only $450 no-contract at AT&T and it's worth the extra $$.

I was going to buy myself the lumia 820 or 920. but when i saw the price for the 620 I had to buy it. ?149.99 on PAYG.

Then just changed my contract sim over so I could use it. It's very good phone for the price maybe a little on the small side for my liking but still good for playing games, but forget about playing games with duel stick control it's shocking.

and I'm still waiting for this phone to arrive here in Philippines. What happened to Nokia' supply chain? Many people actually would want to buy Nokia phones over others but when you want to buy it...its no where to be found. Its frustrating. I think Samsung was very successful because they over saturated the market with Samsung phones, its like you don't have any other choice so you end up buying it. GS3's main selling point is the screen. Their AMOLED screen really pops with over contrast that's why people buy it but when you take the pictures taken from GS3 to your PC and compare it with others then that's when it gets interesting.

Yeah, I wonder what's actually going on with Nokia. The demand for both Lumia 620 and Lumia 920 is soooo high here also in Malaysia, yet when people go to Nokia Stores, they're nowhere to be found and leave them somewhat disappointed. Even if they're here, the special colours like Red and Yellow for Lumia 920 is very, very limited here and for Lumia 620, Lime and Yellow colours are like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Nokia needs to address this issue as soon as possible, or they may lose their potential customers.

?119 is dirt cheap! I want to get it unlocked for vodafone, would make a big saving! Can ths phone be unlocked in the UK yet?

I just purchased a 620 three days ago here in Turkey where they are all unlocked, no contract. So far, so good, it was just released late last week here in Turkey, with Turkcell, (the biggest mobile phone operator in Turkey) leading the pack with promoting it. Right now there seems to be enough in stock, depending on the colour. I got the last green one from our local Turkcell store. I think this will be very popular because of the price. It certainly is quite a bit cheaper then the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, and half the price of the 920 over here. As mentioned, for the features at a very reasonable price, it should sell well with the younger crowd. I am very happy with my 620.
