Phone locking up when screen off

I've had my 620 for a couple weeks now and in that time its locked up four times meaning I had to soft reset it.

Three times, it wont respond when its on but with the screen off ie. When I go to use it after it being left alone for a while.

Anything I should be looking to do in order to get to the bottom of this?

My Lumia 620 had same problem two or three times.
Dropping battery and putting it again solved this problem each time.

I think this is a software issue. Maybe OS hangs when the display is turned off.

The same issue on the 920 is common... I have the issue on my Lumia 920.

Thanks for that guys. I was pretty certain it was a software problem, either something I've installed or the OS.

I still love using this phone though. Great upgrade from my old Symbian phone.

I sometimes notice the same issue, but only when airplane mode is on. Quite annoying as I am often overseas.

had this issue. apparently the problem was too many background apps and a battery live tile that wasn't responding. so i uninstalled the app and disabled most of my background apps.
