I'm interested in getting the Nokia Lumia 620. Reading so many reviews on the internet but I just can't make my mind up between the 620 or 520:grincry: I come from a Samsung Gio 5660 Android and believe a Windows move will be much better shift. Does the 620 come with back lighting on captive buttons at the bottom?

Yes it does. According to a review, the Lumia 520's capacitive buttons are not backlight.

Yes it does. I myself bought a new 620 yesterday and I'm loving it! :D

Also the 520 does not have a gyroscope and a compass which might cause problems in some games.

omg, keys are not backlit for 520?!! Wow.
520 has No gyroscope, No led flash(for rear camera), no front camera(useful for video calls, self photos :p), 520 is a bit wider(4") versus 620(3.8" but has more PPI, helps in great text clarity for reading stuff, etc). Neither of them are AMOLEDs :(.

On such price, AMOLED are extremely rare. ;)

also 520 doesen't has ClearBlack Display while the 620 does!

the 520 is a rly basic phone (specs) imo and the price difference isn't huge so i think 620 is still the most balanced affordable WP!

but if you don't mind the lack of CBD, led flash, front-facing camera, gyro, NFC, Dolby Headphones, HAAC mic...then go for the 520 XD

I was first planning to go with the Nokia 520. Sort of the looks just seems to be better for me then the 620, but features wise? I think my mind is now set for the 620.

How is the sound quality when making phone calls? Is this decent enough?

620 sounds great in calls! As far as the features and looks go, the 620 has been incredible for me. The covers have that dual layer finish and look so unique. On top of that, the phone just feels great to hold. Nice satisfying weight, great size, awesome colors! Hard to put down :)

The LED on the back might be more useful than you think too, AND the 620 is the only midrange Lumia with drive+! Whatever you choose, hope you love it!

If you choose the 520 instead of 620, you will lose some features (But strangely, also added few such as, Super Sensitive touchscreen, larger battery, larger screen, better design, etc.)
If you choose the 520, you will lose :
- ClearBlack display
- LED Flash
- NFC
- Magnetometer (It's used for HERE City Lens)
- Dolby headphones
- FF camera
- HAAC microphone

If those features are not that important (Especially the City Lens), you can just buy the 520, though I still say that the 620 brings slightly better experience. It's your choice really. :)

(Note that I didn't read posts up there so I just want to post what I want)
