Hi people.

I own a Lumia 625. I have two memory cards - 4GB and 8GB. When using the former, my Pictures shows like 3 or 4 copies for each file. When using the latter, Music+Videos shows like 6 or 7 copies for each file. I am very disappointed by this issue. Other than that, I love my Lumia, albeit the 512MB RAM! If numerous websites are to be believed, invariably all Lumia models are enduring this bug. Is Nokia or Microsoft working on a fix for this bug? I really wish WPCentral did a post about this!

Once you update to Black I would suggest you do a hard reset. Prior to the reset format your SD card in your phone to erase it. Then when your SD card is back in format it again.

Things should work fine from that point forward. I believe GDR2 or GDR3 was supposed to fix it but it appears a hard reset is in order to sort it out. I don't know why that is.

1) first go to settings then swipe, then go to photos + camera then select auto upload skydrive settings off
2)may be first format your memory card in phone (after backup on laptop) & check still there is more copies of each file.
3)If no then remove all copies (after backup on laptop) from phone then again transfer pictures, videos, music into phone from your laptop/pc
4) if yes then transfer pictures, videos, music into phone from your laptop/pc

One point to note is that, I did a hard reset once before. Before performing the hard reset, I didn't face this issue! Has there been any reports of GDR3 solving it? Am pesky with the questions, because am a little tight on data plans.
