My Lumia 625 got Cyan Update

Cyan update is now globally available for Lumia 625. At least I needed to download preparing update first and now I am downloading second update which should be 8.1. Will edit this when I have finished installing it.

Edit. Installing went fine and 8.1 works nicely.

So....I just installed the Lumia Cyan update on my 625 ( Unlocked, international version) with WP 8.1 Preview For Developers on it . So far i didn't have any problems. Should i uninstall the Preview For Developers app?
With the Cyan update installed on my phone means that now i have the final version of WP 8.1 ?

I'm confused...

cyan update made my l625 feel a little laggy. compared to 8.0 gdr3 i see lag in animation when i close app and return to start menu. currently my os ver 12393 maybe 12400 update will fix it ( some people claim their phone more faster with 12400 version 0f 8.1 os)

I'm confused! why MS brought out different updates for wp 8.1 and not just ONE. How can someone have 8.1 with 12400 and others an earlier version? I updated my lumia 625 with 12393 and in fact nothing is working as good as it worked with 8.0 GDR3. how and when will i get 12400 (to see if that fixes some problems i m facing)???

battery was better
i have some lags returning to start

nothing desastrous but...

Not quite true (unless i'm mistaken) i have HTC 8s with Dev. Preview 8.1 with o/s version 12397 which is greater than Cyan 12393 (and that's weird) but not (obviously) 12400 (which by the way haven't seen it elsewhere)...

Also i have opened a thread about how cyan messed up my l625 in certain ways... Oh I miss that old times when everything was as simply as it should have been

Hmmm, still my htc8s can not find any new update. But that's not our point is it? (although i m having problems with this version as well).

Anyway, something must be done from MS to fix all these issues...

someone said 12400 was better but MS retired it becuase it create problems with cyan updates

Since the new update (Cyan) had (and still has) major problems, I've decided that it is better to roll back to previous wp version 8.0 for my Lumia 625. With new update the device had problems loading web pages, embedded videos, the start screen did not have the new features as supposed (couldn't load background picture to tiles and did not have this extra column for tiles) and even more problems (less battery life etc.). This new update version needs to be rewritten or something by MS developers. It is so sad that the most expected update was so functionally poor.

Yes. Windows Phone 8.1 automatically has Cortana in it. If you are in the US it is automatically enabled, if not. Next week if in the UK or China and a few others, GDR1 will bring it

My girlfriend has a 625 and since she got Cyan and WP8.1 her phone notifications are not working. I don't know why, I have a 920 with 8.1 preview for developers and my notifications are working great.

When she launch whatsapp after installing a message is showed and it said that the app does not work with this windows version, this is weird. What should I do? (Maybe reinstall windows with the Nokia recovery tool?)
