Please don't give out that IMEI...

Contact your cell phone carrier. If you are not using this device with a service, look to see if there is a carrier name anywhere on the phone and contact them.

When I first answered that thread many months ago I thought the question was about SIM unlocking. I found out later there IS such a thing as an activation code. It is caused by and required after your Microsoft Account setup fails to authenticate.

The remedy is to call Microsoft Customer Care.

Please do not post your email address on a public forum. I know you have not, please don't. We have no way of knowing your email address unless a forum Administrator looks it up and they most likely will not.

Have you read the above advice? Are you looking for a SIM unlock code? No one here can provide it - contact the carrier who has their name on your device.

Is your Microsoft Account not activating and you need the code for that? Only Microsoft Customer Care can give that. See this help page: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2431699?wa=wsignin1.0

If it is some other thing you need you will have to reply and give us more information so we can know the problem.
