How long does it take to reset my nokia lumia 625 phone?

last night at around 11pm i reset my phone but it has been showing the spinning wheels for about 13 hours now and before i reset it was saying that i have to clear 605MB of memory so that i can update my software. now i need to know how long is it gonna take for my phone to turn on

I have a lumia 520 and 535, to hard it takes less than an hour.

it has now been 36 hours and the spinning wheels/gears are still showing. my phone will not turn on. im really worried.
